They successfully became part of the Hyatt Unbound Collection in 2019 and launched their branding and communications across all of their digital channels. The design won After launch they received various travellers and trip advisor awards and have risen in their overall rankings on trip advisor and continue to own a strong differentiated space in a crowded market.

— RESULTS

Through the immersion phase, we helped Nam Nghi realize the need for a greater focused target audience. We created “the Sustainable Visitor” persona and dug deep into what what they want and need. This led us to create the brand strategy around being “Nutured by Nature.” This was brought to life through an immersive visual identity that conveyed both the premium visual cues of their offer with the proximity and commitment to nature. With a such a biodiverse environment, we created an illustration library of flora and fauna that were found in that specific region. This illustration style was complemented with a crafted wordmark that a human artisinal touch. We dialed-up the resort’s environmental credentials with the added location descriptor to the name, effectively heping to brand their unique and secluded location in the coral peninsula.

Nam Nghi was a resort in the Vietnamese island of Phu Quoc and was in the process of joining Hyatt’s Unbound Collection. We worked with the owners at Nam Nghi and the Hyatt team to create a stronger concept and story for the brand and bring it to life in an updated visual system that would live up to the Hyatt Unbound collection standards.
